"It's seeing the 'Aha!' moment when patients understand their injuries or make positive changes to their lifestyle to get back to doing what they love. This is what I find rewarding.”
Kevin is a physiotherapist trained in Melbourne, Australia with dual interests in neuro-rehabilitation and sports. He has a background playing rugby and was involved in various sporting rehab and high performance teams while overseas, including elite rugby, soccer and Aussie rules football with the Moorabbin Rugby Club, Coburg Football Club, the Brumbies and Box Hill United SC.
Not only is he interested in sports, but Kevin has experience with a wide variety of neurological conditions, helping people to get back to their normal life. Some of these interests include acquired brain injuries, movement disorders and facial palsies. Kevin has also dabbled in research with Simon Fraser University (SFU) investigating ice hockey head injuries — even assisting with some publications!
Although sporting injuries have slowed him down (ACL ruptures and concussions to name a few), Kevin still plays Underwater Hockey and is an avid enjoyer of Dungeons and Dragons and other tabletop games.
