"It’s not enough we fix people. It’s about teaching individuals how to manage injuries or ailments that come up in their daily lives. Once we’re able to give people the tools to do this – that is how we’re helping.”
Keith graduated from The University of Sydney in Australia and has experience working with a variety of cases from the general population, post-op patients, individuals in car-accidents, and semi-professional athletes to name a few.
He likes to incorporate a mixture of hands-on manual therapy, individualized movement/exercise prescription, and education. He believes that to optimize your goals, you not only need to help someone get out of pain, but to provide them with tools to be able to help themselves.
Promoting health literacy through body awareness and education is at the forefront of Keith’s rehabilitation structure. With this, you will not only leave feeling better but more empowered with the knowledge to care for yourself first as things arise.
Sports and activity have been an integral part of Keith’s life growing up. He’s spent most of the last decade as a swim and aquatic fitness instructor while also being the team athletic trainer for SFU’s varsity men’s basketball team. He is also a team physio for a wrestling club based out of the Metro Vancouver area helping many National team athletes.
In his free time Keith enjoys staying active through recreational sports, weightlifting, running, cycling, hiking and camping. No matter what your goals are, Keith will be sure to work with you and get you there!
